God has given each a field

1 God has given each a field,
And a harvest it will yield;
All our thoughts, and words, and deeds
Are so many spirit needs.

Sowing, sowing, sowing as we go,
Sowing, only good seeds we will sow;
That unto our Lord the King,
Priceless treasures we may bring.

2 They will all take root and grow—
Then be careful what you sow;
For each one will come to light,

3 Let God’s Spirit to your heart
Seeds of golden truth impart;
