Representative Text

1 For what the Lord has done for me
His helper I desire to be;
Still more of Him I wish to see—
I want to know Him better.

Chorus:
I want to know Him better,
I want to know Him better;
He freely died my sins to hide;
I want to know Him better.

2 That I may truly serve Him here
And feel His blessed presence near
From day to day and year to year,
I want to know Him better. [Chorus]

3 That I may use my talents well,
And more and more, His story tell
To those who still in darkness dwell,
I want to know Him better. [Chorus]

4 That I His steps may truly trace
To yonder bright abiding place,
That I may look upon His face,
I want to know Him better. [Chorus]
