Fiesta de la primavera

Representative Text

1 Fiesta de la primavera
De la vida verdadera,
¡Pascua de Resurrección!
Cristo, muerto y sepultado
Vencedor se ha levantado.
¡Cántale, fiel corazón!

2 Ya la muerte está abolida,
Y la tumba está vencida:
¡Libre está la humanidad!
Primavera hay en el suelo,
Júbilo en el alto cielo.
¡Redimidos alabad!

3 Cristo el miedo ha desterrado,
Y el sepulcro ha consagrado,
Pues al mismo descendió;
Ahora sirve de reposo,
Hasta el día tan glorioso
Que a los suyos prometió.

4 Dámoste la bienvenida,
Cristo, príncipe de vida,
De la muerte vencedor.
Llévanos en tu victoria,
Por la tumba, a aquella gloria
Del eterno resplandor.

Amén.

Tune

ALLES IST AN GOTTES SEGEN

ALLES 1ST AN GOTTES SEGEN is a splendid tune that matches Gaunt's text well, giving it a lot of lift. Sing it in unison on stanzas 1 and 3 and in harmony on stanza 2.
