Draw, Holy Ghost, Thy Seven Fold Veil

Representative Text

1 Draw, Holy Ghost, Thy seven-fold veil
Between us and fires of youth;
Breathe, Holy Ghost, Thy fresh'ning gale

2 For ever on our souls be traced
This blessing from the Saviour's hand,
A sheltering rock in memory's waste,
O'ershadowing all the weary land.

It is somewhat remarkable that amid this brilliantly successful career,… Go to person page >
