Del mas lejano oriente

Representative Text

1 Del más lejano oriente
a la región andina,
de tierras caribeñas
al más helado mar,
del evangelio santo
la dulce voz resuene;
de paz y gozo llene
las almas sin cesar.

2 Las sombras disipando
de todos los errores,
esparza sus fulgores
cual esplendente luz;
anuncie a las gentes
que borra su pecado
el que menospreciado
murió sobre la cruz.

3 Llevad el evangelio
por campos y ciudades;
de Cristo las bondades
al pueblo predicad.
A todos anunciemos
de gozo y pas las nuevas;
de celo dando pruebas
de amor a la verdad. Amén.
