Representative Text

1 Deep is the darkness enshrouding my soul;
Oh, for one ray of light!
Lead me to Jesus, I long to be whole,
I must find Christ tonight.

Refrain:
I must find Christ, I must find Christ,
I must find Christ tonight;
I have resolved a new life to begin,
I must find Christ tonight.

2 Long have I know the hard bondage of sin,
Long felt its with’ring blight;
Now I resolve a new life to begin;
I must find Christ tonight. [Refrain]

3 Wrecked on life’s sea, by the wild billows toss’d,
Trembling and sick with fright,
I must have help, or my soul will be lost,
I must find Christ tonight. [Refrain]
