Representative Text

1 Dear Savior now thy mercy show,
And give my longing heart to know
The myst’ry of thy love;
Then will thy praise my powers employ,
And my glad soul ev’n here enjoy
The bliss that reigns above.

2 O let thy spirit fill my soul,
And every rising tho’t control
Be thou my constant guide;
Grant me thy gentle voice to hear,
Thy face to see, to feel thee near,
And in thy love abide.

3 A holy zeal inspire in me
To seek the treasure hid in thee;
The wealth of love divine;
Perfect in me thy work of grace,
And let the brightness of thy face,
On me forever shine.
