De mil arpas y mil voces

Representative Text

1 De mil arpas y mil voces
Se alcen himnos de loor;
Cristo reina, el cielo goza,
Cristo reina, el Dios de amor,
Ved, su trono ocupa ya;
Cristo al mundo regirá.

2 ¡Rey de gloria! Reine siempre
Su divina potestad;
Nadie arranque de su mano
Los que son su propiedad.
Dicha tiene todo aquel
Que confia siempre en Él.

3 Apresura tu venida
En las nubes, ¡oh Señor!
Nuevos cielos, nueva vida,
Danos, Cristo por tu amor.
Áureas arpas de tu grey,
"¡Gloria!," entonen a su rey.

Amén.

For some time he preached in two unconsecrated buildings in Dublin, Plunket Street, and the Bethesda, and then, having seceded from the Established Church, he erected places of worship at Athy, Portarlington, Wexford, &c, in which he conducted divine worship and preached.
