Come Now, O Lord of Victory

Representative Text

1 Come, now O Lord of victory,
Your mercy here disclose,
Great Measurer of all mankind
And Conquerer of foes.

2 Your mother's kindred now we are,
Your Father's kindred we,
Down to this middle earth You came
To set Your brothers free.

3 The gates of heaven, long denied
To us through Satan's guile,
Stand open now, for by Your blood
We are no more defiled.

4 O Savior, Healer, Shaper, Lord,
Arise, Your works defend
From that foul, dark, seducing fiend,
And work Your kingdom's end.
