Representative Text

1 Come, for the Saviour is calling,
Come to Him just as you are;
Haste, for the shadows are falling,
Gates of the night are ajar.

Refrain:
Just as you are without waiting,
Though you have wandered afar,
He will receive, if you only believe,
O come to Him just as you are.

2 You need not wait to grow better,
Every such effort is vain;
Jesus can break every fetter,
Blot out your guilt and your stain. [Refrain]

3 Come as you are without fearing,
Jesus is waiting to save;
Yes, for the vilest of sinners
His life a ransom He gave. [Refrain]

4 Come, for the Saviour is pleading,
He loves and longs to forgive;
He offers you free salvation,
Accept His pardon and live. [Refrain]
