Representative Text

1 Cloudless skies will meet my sight,
All my wrongs will end in right,
I shall thrill with pure delight,
Some glad morning.

Refrain:
Some glad morning,
Some fair dawning,
I shall reach the blessed goal,
Some glad morning.

2 Missing friends, for whom I sigh
Deeper as the years go by,
I shall meet in yonder sky,
Some glad morning. [Refrain]

3 With my burden laid aside,
I shall wake beyond the tide
And be fully satisfied,
Some glad morning. [Refrain]

4 I shall hear the angels sing,
And the bells of heaven ring,
I shall stand before the King,
Some glad morning. [Refrain]
