Christ Jesus Lives

Christ Jesus, my Lord, laid His life aside

Author: Tommy Wheeler
Tune: [Christ Jesus, my Lord, laid His life aside]
Published in 1 hymnal

Representative Text

1 Christ Jesus, my Lord, laid His life aside;
He lives; He lives;
For all of mankind Jesus freely died;
He lives today!

Refrain:
Christ Jesus lives, I know He lives;
My life has been changed today,
Christ Jesus lives; I know He lives;
He lives in my heart to stay.

2 Christ Jesus arose from the grave one day;
he lives; He lives;
Triumphant He rose to provide a way,
He lives today! [Refrain]

3 My Savior now reigns from His throne on high;
He lives; He lives;
Preparing a place for us when we died,
He lives today! [Refrain]

4 Then one day He's coming to take us home;
He lives; He lives.
We'll praise Him forever and never roam,
He lives today! [Refrain]
