Representative Text

1 Carry the sunlight wherever you go;
Many are living in darkness and woe;
That to the world you his goodness may prove,
Carry the sunlight of Christ and his love.

Refrain:
Carry the sunlight,
Beautiful light of his love;
Tell the glad story of Christ and his glory
Wherever you go;
Carry the sunlight,
Beautiful light of his love;
Tell the glad story of Christ and his glory
Wherever you go.

2 Some are discouraged, and weary, oppressed;
Lead them to Jesus where they may find rest;
He can all sin and its burden remove;
Carry the sunlight of Christ and his love. [Refrain]

3 Carry the sunlight by night and by day,
Scatter it lovingly over your way;
Till you are called to the city above,
Carry the sunlight of Christ and his love. [Refrain]
