All yesterday is gone. [Invitation.] This hymn, in 3 stanzas of 4 lines, is found in a few English collections early in the present century, including Pratt's Collection, 1829, through which it probably passed into the American collections. Its use in Great Britain is very limited. In America it is found in several hymnals. It is an earnest and simple invitation to accept of present offers of salvation. Its authorship is unknown.
