Al Señor Jesús loemos

Representative Text

1 Al Señor Jesús loemos,
porque tanto le debemos;
Lo que somos y tenemos,
sólo es nuestro en él.

2 Es Jesús su nombre amado;
a su pueblo él ha salvado;
Es el triunfo asegurado
por su gran poder.

3 ¡Oh, confiad en este amigo!
nos liberta del peligro,
Nos es hoy un fuerte abrigo
y hasta el fin será.

4 Cumpliráse nuestro anhelo,
en el día en que sin velo
Le veremos en el cielo
al Señor Jesús.

For some time he preached in two unconsecrated buildings in Dublin, Plunket Street, and the Bethesda, and then, having seceded from the Established Church, he erected places of worship at Athy, Portarlington, Wexford, &c, in which he conducted divine worship and preached.
