See also Thomas Williams. ======================================== Williams, Thomas, of Bethesda'r Frô, was a minister with the Independents in South Wales. He was born at a farmhouse, called Trehedyn, near Cowbridge, Glamorganshire. In 1812 he published a collection of hymns, which he called Llais y Durtur, or The Voice of the Turtle Dove. In 1824 he published a new edition under the title of Dyfroedd Bethesd, containing 143 hymns and 10 songs. Many of his hymns are still used by all denominations in Wales. [Rev. W.
