when in distress to him I called,
he to my rescue came.
4 The hosts of God encamp around

deliv'rance he affords to all
who on his succor trust.
5 O make but trial of his love;
experience will decide
how blest they are, and only they,
who in his truth confide.
6 Fear him, ye saints, and you will then
have nothing else to fear:
make you his service your delight,
he'll make your wants his care.

Scripture: Psalm 34:4 Author of "I Sought The Lord" in Hymns of Faith and Life In some hymnals, the editors noted that a hymn's author is unknown to them, and so this artificial "person" entry is used to reflect that fact. Obviously, the hymns attributed to "Author Unknown" "Unknown" or "Anonymous" could have been written by many people over a span of many centuries.
