Leonard Gunelius Gudmundsen (born 24 October 1924 in Harstad, died July 30, 1990 ) was a Norwegian hymn writer, composer and evangelist. He wrote the text for more than 1,600 songs and song for about half of these. He wrote the book Forget not all His benefits that came out in 1985 and the second edition in 1989. It has also been released two albums of his songs, think for a Jubilee and home in heaven that came out in 2007. He was associated with the Inner Mission for over 40 years as a preacher.

Gudmundsen is represented by the song "Home in the sky" in Hymns 1997 .

He was the father of NRK-man Helge Gudmundsen.
