Norris O. Garner

Norris Garner is an accomplished singer, songwriter, composer, arranger and producer with over 30 years experience directing and teaching gospel and contemporary music. He has composed over two hundred gospel songs for church choirs, Male Choruses, Youth Choirs and Soloists.
He is the writer of "He's Blessing Me," published by GIA Publications, "Magnify Him," recorded by Patrick Lundy and The Ministers of Music "Let Freedom Ring," "God Is," and "Holy Is The Lamb." He currently serves as the Minister of Music at Frist Baptist Church of Merrifield, Falls Church, Virginia. He previously served as Minister of Music at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Richmond, California, as Instructor/Director of the Foothill College Gospel Chorus,Foothill College, Los Altos Hills, California, as Minister of Music at New Hope Baptist Church, Union City, California, as Minister of Music at Poplar Springs United Church of Christ, Raleigh, North Carolina, as Musician and Instructor for the Youth and Senior Choirs at Macedonia United Church of Christ, Raleigh, North Carolina, as Musician and Music Coordinator at The New Macedonia Baptist Church, Washington, D.C., as Musician and Instructor for the Isle of Patomus Baptist Church, Washington, D.C., as Musician, Choir Director, Songwriter and Organist for The FEC Ensemble, Free Evangelistic Church, Washington, D.C., and as Musician and Instructor for Mt. Joy Baptist Church, Washington, D.C.
