O Bride of Christ, Rejoice!

Does anyone know anymore about this hymn? I am a hymn writer (re-tuning & adapting) and trying to credit original writer/authorship. I am coming up with German 1574, anonymous ca 1600, Danish 1600, Translator V. Petersen 1899, Author Johan Olof Wallin 1816. I am wondering if Wallin might have been a translator to it instead? Any leads on this beautiful poetic text?

The newer hymnals agree that Victor O. Peterson translated the hymn into English. It may originally have been by an unknown Danish author around 1600 - "Fryd dig, du Krisiti Brud" - Johan Olaf Wallin most likely translated the hymn into Swedish. It is likely that Peterson translated Wallin's text, since it looks like Peterson translated other Swedish texts.
