An introspective and reflective setting of this Christmas standard on the tune IRBY. The composer includes many of the elements that have become associated with this hymn. This arrangement begins with either a treble solo, or with all sopranos, it then broadens into a rich setting of the following stanzas, and ends with a hushed treatment of the text "And our eyes at last shall see him." May be used in worship or concerts.
