934. Jesus made known the path of light

1 Jesus made known the path of light,
Which righteous men shall tread;
He showed the way, the truth, the life,
In rising from the dead.

2 Then let these fleshly yearnings cease,
Let joy our hearts expand;
Death is to them a peaceful sleep
Who keep their Lord's command.

3 This sleeping dust ere long shall rise,
And these dead bones awake,
When Christ in glory rends the skies,
And all the kingdoms shake.
