Notes: Responsorial refrain to reading of Psalm 13. Tone included for chanting. When reading the psalm, consider singing the first stanza of the Taizé refrain several times before the reading, singing softly or humming under the reading of vv. 1-4. After reading v. 4, move to st. 2 of the refrain, singing several times before the final reading, again undergirding the reading with soft singing or humming. The singing of st. 2 may continue for some time after the reading concludes. When chanting the psalm, allow some silence or repeated singing of the Taizé refrain between vv. 4 and 5.
