1 There’s a Saviour who’s almighty,
He will guide my steps aright.
In the way that he directeth
I have faith, tho’ lacking sight.

My hand in his, I’ll tread the billows,
My hand in his, I’ll brave the storm,

I need not fear, nor have alarm.

2 As I travel toward that city
Of whose joys I long to prove;
My support is grace supernal,
My unerring counsel, love. [Refrain]

3 As he spake to trembling Peter,
Christ repeateth “Come” to e,
And the billows shall not harm you;
Wherefore doubtest thou? Saith, he. [Refrain]

4 All my doubts are gone forever,
And my soul is satisfied,
For omnipotence enthrills me,
Wondrous presence doth abide. [Refrain]
