17. All On the Altar

1 All on the altar, nothing reserving,
Yielding to Thee my life and my all;
Pleading the promise, cleanse me and fill me,
While now upon Thee I earnestly call.

Refrain:
All on the altar, all on the altar,
Now I am trusting the promise divine;
Simply believing, I am receiving,
What thou hast promised, Thy fullness divine.

2 All on the altar, all my ambitions,
All my possessions, no longer mine;
All that I am and all that I will be,
Now and forever shall only be Thine. [Refrain]

3 All on the altar, going or staying,
I am content wherever I dwell;
If Thou, O Lord, in mercy will lead me
Into Thy will all shall ever be well. [Refrain]

4 All on the altar, living or dying,
Happy my lot forever shall be;
Fill’d with Thy Spirit, joyfully singing,
Knowing Thy will means a heaven to me. [Refrain]
