Jesus invites you here,
Angels are lingering near,

O wanderer, come.

3 “Almost persuaded,” harvest is past!
“Almost persuaded.” doom comes at last!
“Almost” cannot avail;
“Almost” is but to fail!
Sad, sad, that bitter wail,
“Almost,” but lost.
