94. A Memory

1 Within my heart I hold a fadeless memory,
The dearest memory I know,
The memory of One who died on Calvary,
Whose heart was broken by my sin and woe.

Refrain:
Memory, memory,
Blessed memory that leads me back to Calvary;
When I was lost the Saviour found me,
Put His loving arms around me,
‘Tis a memory that never fades.

2 He lovingly forgave me all my wasted years,
And filled my soul with peace divine;
Such love as I had never known dispelled my fears,
When Jesus Christ transformed this life of mine. [Refrain]

3 No changing scenes of earth can steal my Lord away,
No veil but sin can hide His face;
He is my everlasting strength from day to day,
And I am kept by His abounding grace. [Refrain]
