16144. The Judgment

1 Are you ready for the dawning
Of that morning bright and fair,
When you’ll see the Savior coming
With the angels in the air?
Is your life redeemed and spotless,
Are your garments white as snow?
Could you welcome now your Savior,
And with Him to glory go?

Refrain:
When you stand before the throne,
Will you be unsaved, unknown?
Or among the pure and blest
Who shall gain eternal rest?

2 When the nations have been gathered
From the land and from the sea,
And the living been translated
With their Lord for aye to be,
And you stand at last in judgment,
Knowing earthly ties are riv’n,
Will a place of endless anguish,
Or a crown of life be giv’n? [Refrain]

3 When the great tribunal’s over,
And the saved have heard "Well done,"
And are singing hallelujahs
To the Father and the Son,
Will you be among the number,
Pain and sorrow passed away,
There to reign with Him in gladness
Thro’ one bright eternal day? [Refrain]
