14581. Come, Children, One And All

1 Come, children, one and all,
Our Easter carol sing,
And with the birds and flowers,
Our heart’s pure incense bring.

Refrain:
Birds are singing,
Buds are springing,
Everything is gay,
While sunbeams gleaming,
Bright eyes beaming,
Sing our Easter lay.

2 For Christ has ris’n today,
The Sunday of the year;
Then with glad hearts we’ll raise
Our voices bright and clear. [Refrain]

3 We know it was for us
Our Savior rose today;
Ascending first to Heaven,
He said I am the way. [Refrain]

4 Then let us all today,
Our Easter anthems raise,
And join the angel choirs,
In hymning forth His praise. [Refrain]
