What other heart like Yours so full of love?
You are my confidence, You and You alone,

3 Had You not loved me first, before creation,
My stubborn heart would not have sought Your grace;
You searched me out, and in Your mercy took me
Into Your fond embrace.

4 Now, from the bottom of my soul I thank You,
For the eternal plan to give me rest,
