2 In our Paschal Joys and Feasts, halle, hallelujah,
Let the Lord of Life be bless'd, halle, hallelujah,

And thankful Hearts to Heav'n be rais'd, halle, hallelujah.

3 Christ our Lord is ris'n To-day, halle, hallelujah,
Christ our Life, our Light our Way; halle, hallelujah,
Th' Object of our Love and Faith, halle, hallelujah,
Who by dying conquer'd Death, halle, hallelujah.

4 The holy Matrons early came, halle, hallelujah,
To weep o'er their Saviour's Tomb: halle, hallelujah,

His blest Residence declare? halle, hallelujah,
Jesus seek among the dead, halle, hallelujah,
