31. Jamaica

1. Arise, arise, ye mortals all,
   And hail the glorious morn,
And join to celebrate the day,
   Our Savior, Christ, was born.

2. Behold what tidings angels brought,
   To shepherds on that morn,
   The tidings we again repeat,
   Our Savior, Christ, was born.

3. All in a stall where oxen feed,
   Our Savior, Christ, is laid.
All meanly wrapt in swaddling bands,
   The shepherds testified.

4. Glory to God who reigns above,
   Let peace surround the earth,
Mortals shall know their Maker's love
   and hail our Savior's birth.
